This project involved was a large-scale refurbishment of the Clock Tower Building, a prominent structure within one of Liverpool's largest collections of Grade II listed sites. Our scope was a full building conversion, creating premium commercial office spaces ranging from 250 to 9,000 sq ft.A key construction challenge was the structural overhaul of the former first-floor theatre. We engineered and installed a new large-scale mezzanine floor to maximize the volume, simultaneously creating a dramatic double-height perimeter atrium. This required meticulous structural work to integrate these modern elements within the sensitive historic fabric, carefully exposing and preserving original features throughout the building.The project demanded the highest standards of craftsmanship to meet the stringent requirements of a Grade II listed building while installing modern services and infrastructure. We successfully delivered a complex MEP package, ensuring the historic property performs as a high-specification, modern workplace. The result is a landmark construction project that respects Liverpool's architectural heritage while providing a robust, high-quality commercial environment for the future.
