Location
Liverpool, Fabric district
Project Type
Co working spaces
This project transformed a 1960s building into a dynamic co-working environment designed to foster creativity and collaboration. The strategic redesign focused on creating a bright, airy, and characterful space for a community of innovators and businesses.
The layout was meticulously planned to enhance interaction and productivity. Key investments were made in shared amenities and breakout zones that encourage spontaneous meetings and provide respite from focused work areas. Service cores are centrally located to maximize natural light throughout the primary workspaces.
The building's new facade features a shifting pattern of solid panels and glazing, reflecting the area's industrial character while signalling a fresh, creative direction for the district.
Inside, the ground floor offers a welcoming reception lounge, flexible hot-desking areas, and a shared meeting room unified by a central coffee point. The first floor provides open-plan workstations alongside vibrant breakout spaces and a central kitchen that serves as the social heart of the community.
This project demonstrates how thoughtful design can create an environment that acts as a catalyst for collaboration and innovation, establishing a new benchmark for creative workspaces in the Fabric District.
