This project was a comprehensive reinvention of a 1962 architect-designed home that had remained unchanged since its original construction. The transformation involved the careful deconstruction of the existing structure, including the removal of the first floor, roof, and garage, to create a blank canvas for a modern, four-bedroom detached family home.
The new design reinterprets the original mono-pitch aesthetic with a fresh, contemporary vision. The rebuilt structure features a refined architectural form, maximizing spatial quality and natural light. The interior layout has been completely reimagined to meet modern living standards, creating a seamless flow between living, dining, and private areas.
Through this ambitious rebuild and remodel, the project successfully preserves a connection to the site's architectural heritage while delivering a thoroughly updated, light-filled, and functional home for contemporary life.
